Stony Brook Southampton Hospital will provide free in-person cancer screening for head and neck cancer patients this week.

Around 70 people rallied to draw attention to the United States postmaster general and the Trump administration on Saturday morning in East Hampton Village, demanding Louis DeJoy’s dismissal, the return of mailboxes and mail sorting equipment that were removed, and the universal right to cast ballots by mail.  

Two young East End surfers have organized a paddle-out on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m off the beach at Napeague Lane in Amagansett in support of inclusion in surfing and the Black Lives Matter movement.

Following a morning raid of a house in East Hampton on Friday, police arrested a man on multiple weapons charges.
