Upcoming County Property Auction Includes Local Parcels

An upcoming real estate auction coordinated by the Suffolk County Division of Economic Development and Planning and planned for Oct. 12 lists a handful of properties in East Hampton and Southampton Towns as available for bidding.

An online overview of the parcels includes a 100-by-100 foot square of land on 15th Street in Springs, a sizable lot at the corner of Garfield Avenue and North Greenwich Street in Montauk, a 105-by-16 foot parcel on Maylen Drive in Shinnecock Hills, and a 50-by-705-foot length of private roadway off of Longview Road, also in Shinnecock Hills. Parcels in Riverhead and Shelter Island are also included in the mix.

Interested bidders must register ahead of time, by Oct. 11, via this link on the Suffolk County website.
