Charitable Happenings This Weekend

Fri, 03/17/2023 - 14:25

In Sag Harbor and Amagansett this weekend, a bake sale and a spaghetti dinner, respectively, will raise money for charitable endeavors.

Matriark, at 133 Main Street in Sag Harbor, will hold a bake sale to benefit survivors of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. The Sag Harbor Elementary School is co-sponsoring the sale, and Sylvester & Co. is providing coffee. Donations will go to Doctors Without Borders and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.

East Hampton Rotary and its Interact Club will host a spaghetti and meatball dinner on Sunday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Amagansett. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children. Dinners can also be donated to Meals on Wheels. The hall is at the northeast corner of Montauk Highway and Abraham's Path.
