It's not too early to stock up on treats for the December holidays, right? Right. The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons will kick off its annual bake sale and holiday market on Saturday, featuring traditional pastries and gifts.

Sales of baklava, spanakopita, kourambiethes (powdered sugar cookies), koulourakia (tea cookies), and other goods — all baked by members of the church and its parent-teacher organization — will benefit the Greek Orthodox Church's philanthropic ministries, cultural events, and educational programs.

On Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the bakers themselves will be selling these treats at post offices in Sag Harbor, Quogue, and Bridgehampton, as well as Goldberg's Bagels locations, the Seafood Shop in Wainscott, and the restaurant 75 Main in Southampton. The food items can also be preordered by calling the church office at 631-283-6169 or visiting its website, dormitionhamptons.org.

The holiday gift market, located at the church at 111 St. Andrew's Road, is open Thursdays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 3 through Dec. 23.
