The East Hampton Town Trustees' virtual meeting on Monday will include a presentation on the acoustic telemetry studies and trawl surveys associated with the South Fork Wind farm's export cable, which is to make landfall at the ocean beach at the end of Beach Lane in Wainscott. Researchers from Stony Brook University, Monmouth University, and Cornell Cooperative Extension will discuss their findings.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and will air live on LTV's Channel 22, at ltveh.org, and on LTV's YouTube channel. Viewers will be able to address the trustees during the meeting by calling 351-888-6331.

The trustees and the town have approved the cable landing and its subterranean path to a Long Island Power Authority substation in East Hampton. The New York State Public Service Commission has also approved the portion of the wind farm that would lie in the state and in state waters. The proposed wind farm remains under federal review.
