Nick and Toni’s in East Hampton will offer a prix fixe menu for Mother’s Day on Sunday from 11 to 3. Priced at $95, plus tax and gratuity, the menu includes appetizers, main courses, and dessert.

First courses include ricotta brioche toast, Lioni burrata, artichoke fennel salad, little gem salad, and seared yellowfin tuna. Entrees are lemon ricotta pancakes, roasted wild salmon and avocado toast, roasted Mattituck mushrooms, handmade campanelle, pan-seared halibut, baked Eggs in Purgatory, and a New York strip tagliata and fried egg.

Desserts are a buttermilk tart, almond brown butter cake, sheep’s milk ricotta semifreddo, raspberry lemon verbena sorbet, and stracciatella gelato. A $34 children’s menu will also be available.

Montauk’s Navy Beach will celebrate the holiday on Sunday with a $60 three-course menu. Appetizer choices are clam and corn chowder, Peruvian shrimp ceviche, and little gem Caesar salad. Main course options are mafaldine pasta, a Buddha bowl, and seared salmon. Desserts will be chosen by the chef.

Mothers will receive a complimentary mimosa or glass of rosé with their meals. The menu will be offered from noon to closing, and the regular menu will also be available.

The 1770 House in East Hampton is celebrating Mother’s Day by offering mothers who order the restaurant’s $65 prix fixe menu a complementary dessert and half-price glass of wine.

The prix fixe, which is available to all diners, starts with chilled spring sweet pea soup, poached asparagus, or spicy Montauk fluke tartare. Main courses are rosemary roasted Berkshire pork chop, wild gulf shrimp, and Amish chicken.

The desserts, free for moms, are sticky date cake, butterscotch pots de crème, and Meyer lemon cheesecake.

While it is usually open only for dinner, Bostwick’s on the Harbor in Springs will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering brunch from 11:30 to 3 and dinner from 4:30 to closing. Moms will receive a complimentary glass of prosecco or wine.

Brunch specials will include eggs Benedict, crab cake Benedict, steak and eggs, lobster B.L.T., and Three Mile French toast. The full a la carte menu will also be available. The restaurant does not take reservations.

Another restaurant not usually open for brunch on weekends, will do so on Sunday. Beginning at 10, La Goulue Sur Mer in Southampton will serve a brunch featuring French dishes, coastal influences, and pastries from the restaurant’s pastry chef. All mothers will receive a complimentary Bellini.

Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery in Southold has a special Mother’s Day option: a sweet and savory brunch by Pip’s Cafe and Provisions in Greenport and a tasting flight of three of the winery’s sparkling wines.

Priced at $55 per person, the brunch will include mini scones, green salad, spring quiche, and passion fruit danish. Wine club members can have a glass of sparkling rosé after the pairing. Seatings begin at 10:45 and the final one is at 4.

Openings

The Beacon in Sag Harbor will open for its 28th season on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Among the starters are shrimp tacos, salmon rillette, and pork belly pretzel buns. Main courses include vegan lasagna, lobster rigatoni, sesame-crusted tuna, and Duroc pork chop Milanese.

Gosman’s Dock in Montauk will launch the new Lobster House and Clam Bar on Friday. Offerings include lobster tacos, pan-seared tuna, and mussels in white cream sauce. The restaurant will be open seven days a week from noon to 9, with reservations available for parties of eight or more.

Sylvia Wong, the owner of the Roundtree Inn in Amagansett, will launch Nourish, a new restaurant led by Dewa Wijaya, a chef from Bali, on May 18 in the Bridgehampton space formerly occupied by Arthur and Sons. The small plates will include scallop crudo, lobster feast salad, crispy Montauk sea bass, and East End sushi bits. Among the entrees are slow-cooked beef short rib in curry sauce, sea bass steamed in ginger sauce, and flame-grilled jumbo prawns.

After more than 25 years in the Hamptons, Citarella has opened its newest market at 141 Montauk Highway in Westhampton Beach. “For years, customers in Westhampton Beach have asked for a Citarella closer to home,” Joe Gurrera, the market’s owner, said in a press release. “We’re glad to be part of the community, and to share our passion for great food and real quality.”

Wine Class at Park Place

For its next wine class, East Hampton’s Park Place Wines and Liquors will focus on some of France’s most iconic wine regions next Thursday at 6 p.m. Think Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne, and the Rhône. The shop promises to pour six top-tier wines from celebrated French winemakers, while illuminating what makes them special.

Tickets are $60 and nonrefundable.

Estia’s Sudden Farewell

The Sag Harbor restaurant had been on the market as its owner looked to retire, but the announcement that its final days of service would be last weekend took some, including longtime employees, by surprise.
