Pop-Up Market

New to the local farmers and artisans market scene is Golden Hour Market, which will appear for the first time Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Sagaponack Farm Distillery. Run by Zuzanna von Salm and Maria Lavezzo, it promises to bring to the distillery farms, food purveyors, music, and food and beverages.

Among the farms represented are the Marilee Foster Farm and Stone's Throw Farm in Sagaponack, the Mattituck Mushroom Farm, Deep Dive Farm, also in Mattituck, and the Treiber Farm from Peconic. Baked goods from Big Fresh Bakery and Springs Fireplace Hot Sauce products will also be for sale. Other vendors will have soap, clothing, jewelry, skin care products, and more.

The market plans to return to the distillery on Aug. 21, adding producers specializing in olive oil, pasture-raised meats, and fresh pasta, and a few more farms.
