Thanksgiving Dining Out
Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor will be open for Thanksgiving next Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. A holiday-theme entree will consist of roasted turkey with cranberry sauce, chestnut and sunchoke stuffing, sweet potato soufflé, roasted lemon brussels sprouts, and house gravy. The cost is $115 for two, plus tax and gratuity. A child’s portion is $30. The regular a la carte menu will also be available.
The 1770 House in East Hampton will also be open next Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m. Michael Rozzi, the chef, will present three courses with traditional and alternative holiday selections for $135 per person and $65 for children 12 years and under, plus beverage, tax, and gratuity. Michael Cohen, the wine director, will be on hand to suggest wine pairings.
A bit farther afield, Feniks in Southampton will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Thursday with a three-course prix fixe menu for $125 per person. First courses are pumpkin lobster bisque, autumn salad, vegetable tian, and tuna and crab tower.
The main courses are organic turkey with traditional sides, lobster-shrimp shepherd’s pie, tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, and duck three ways. Dessert choices are pumpkin torte, apple-pecan cake, and chocolate molten cake.
Reservations are required.
Also in Southampton, La Goulue Sur Mer will host a four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner for $150 next Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., with desserts by the pastry chef Michel Coco.
Holiday Market
Share the Harvest Farm will have its annual Thanksgiving Market on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Hoie Hall in East Hampton. In addition to a diverse lineup of vendors, complimentary apple cider, live music by Silas Jones, and raffles featuring a variety of prizes will add to the festivities.
Among the participating vendors are Peter Ambrose, Springs Salt, Hamptons Preserves, Nikki’s Not Dog Stand, Montauk Smoked Fish, Aki’s Kitchen, Marilena’s Crackers, Ocean Fog Farm, and South Shore Mushrooms.
All vendors are donating 20 percent of their profits to support Share the Harvest Farm’s mission of fighting food insecurity on the East End. In addition, sales of the farm’s Hamptons Handpoured candles will support its programs.
Prix Fixe at Nick and Toni’s
Nick and Toni’s in East Hampton will offer its two-course pizza and pasta prix fixe every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m., except during holiday weekends. The cost is $34, plus tax and gratuity, and quartinos of wine will be available for $15.
Appetizers are romaine salad with garlic croutons, Grana Padano, and Caesar dressing, or wild arugula and shaved fennel salad with Pecorino Romano and red wine vinaigrette.
Main course options are wood-fired margherita pizza with pomodoro, house-made mozzarella, and basil; homemade lumache pasta, cacio e pepe, and lemon zest, and the chef’s pasta special.
Wine and Food Pairings
Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery in Southold is celebrating the season with its Eat, Drink, and Be Sparkling series of wine and food paring experiences. The venue’s waffle house, set for Saturday at noon, will pair a three-wine flight with three mini savory and sweet waffles topped with seasonal bites. The cost is $40, $36 for wine club members.
A winter truffle tasting will happen on Nov. 29 at noon. Fresh black winter truffles will be woven into small bites and served with four sparkling wines. The price is $70, $63 for members.
