Sides include brussels sprouts with pickled peppers and mint, grilled chicories with Castelvetrano olives, and potatoes with rosemary and “garleek” butter. Apple and pumpkin pies are the dessert options.

A full Thanksgiving dinner to go for 10 people with antipasti, heritage turkey, three sides, and dessert is available for preorder for $500. Orders can be placed on the website for pickup Wednesday from noon to 6 or next Thursday from 9 till noon.

Il Buco has also announced the return of a classic burger to its menu. Paired with six Montauk Pearl oysters, roasted red onion, pickled chilies, Taleggio cheese, aioli, roasted crushed potatoes, and a 12-ounce Montauk Brewery Pumpkin Ale, it is available at the bar all day for $44.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
