Just Opened

Michael Gluckman, who operated the popular sushi and Asian fusion eatery Bamboo in East Hampton some years back, has opened the Bamboo Restaurant and Sushi Bar on Job’s Lane in Southampton. For now, the restaurant is offering takeout food and drinks with curbside pickup or delivery from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The menu includes sushi and entrees such as Korean short rib tacos for $26, and pan-seared tuna with garlic udon noodles for $30. Orders can be placed via the restaurant’s website, bamboosouthampton.com.

Street Food, a new restaurant on South Erie Street in Montauk, has poke bowls, dumplings, ramen, fried rice, stir-fry dishes, and other Asian fare available for curbside pickup from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and noon to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. An order of steamed pork dumplings costs $9.95, a tuna citrus poke bowl is $16.95, and a stir-fry with ginger glazed lobster is $27.95. The full menu is available at mtkstreetfood.com, and orders can be placed on the website.

Carbone, an Italian eatery in Manhattan, has opened a pop-up restaurant at 230 Elm Street in Southampton. It offers takeout and contactless pickup. The menu features dishes such as spicy rigatoni in a vodka sauce, veal Parmigiana, and Caesar salad. Orders can be placed by calling the restaurant up to two hours before the desired pickup time.  

Dinner Specials

The Art of Eating catering company in Bridgehampton is offering several dinner specials for drive-through pickup on Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30. Today’s menu includes appetizers such as goat cheese ravioli with spring greens and roasted rice vinaigrette for $18.50 and lobster paté with a coconut lemongrass broth for $21. The entrees include a 21-ounce prime rib with cauliflower gratin and ramps for $52, and sautéed blackfish with purple asparagus, peas, baby carrots, and herb potato crisps for $38. Nick and Toni’s in East Hampton has a $60 pork ribs dinner special for two available for curbside pickup between 5 and 9 p.m. through Sunday. The entree comes with Provencal tomatoes, a potato radicchio slaw, and focaccia with rosemary and sea salt. The restaurant is also offering 25 percent off bottles of wine and beer. Orders can be placed at nickandtonis.com or by calling the restaurant after 1 p.m.

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor has dinner specials that feed one to two people including beef Bourguignon for $28, lamb tagine for $24, vegetable stew for $18, and sautéed shrimp for $24. Orders can be placed by calling the restaurant between 3 and 8 p.m. on Mondays, and Wednesday through Friday, and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. 

From Away

Marea in New York City is offering East End deliveries of prepare-it-at-home dinner kits for four for $450. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Thursdays for delivery on Fridays. This week’s menu features heirloom tomato and burrata, green bean salad, a choice of branzino or a 12-ounce strip steak, potato gratin, asparagus, and a seasonal pie.

The Smith restaurant in Manhattan is offering prepared foods, grocery items, and bottles of wine, beer, and liquor for Friday delivery on the East End. Orders must be placed by noon on Thursdays. There is a minimum order of $75 and a $19.99 delivery free. For orders of more than $250, delivery is free.

Dante, a Greenwich Village bar, has opened an outpost in the parking lot of the Highway Restaurant and Bar in East Hampton that offers a selection of cocktails for pickup starting at 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Kits that include either four eight-ounce bottles of different martinis, or three Negronis — chocolate, lavender, and classic — and a mescalito cocktail are $115. A make-your-own margarita kit for 12 is $90. A full menu is available at dante-nyc.com. Orders must be made by noon on the day of pickup on Dante’s website.

Stone Barns Farm Boxes

Blue Hill and Stone Barns Resourced farm boxes (called “a C.S.A. for the most discerning aesthete” by The New Yorker) are now being delivered to the South Fork for pickup on Wednesdays.

The boxes, which range in price from $68 to $170, focus on a single ingredient such as beef, pork, fish, or vegetables, or contain a variety of prepared foods and baked items. They are designed to provide multiple meals for two people. The suppliers include producers and businesses from the East End, such as Dock to Dish. Wine, cocktails, kombucha, and flowers are also available.

Orders should be placed by Tuesday at 4 p.m. and will be available for pickup at 5 or 5:30 p.m. on Bay Street in Sag Harbor across from Geekhampton. Descriptions of the selections and you may place your order online at exploretock.com/bluehillatstonebarns/.

Summer shares are now available from Quail Hill Farm, one of the country's original community-supported agriculture farms. Family shares, for households of two or more people, and single-person shares as well, run from early June through Halloween, with picking two days a week, including unlimited flowers.
