John Lennon’s “lost weekend” refers to an 18-month period, from 1973 to 1975, when he separated from Yoko Ono and lived with his assistant, May Pang. During that period, Ms. Pang took candid photos of Lennon in a relaxed environment.

A collection of those private photographs, including several taken in Long Island Sound, will be at Keyes Art in Sag Harbor Friday. and Saturday from noon to 6, and Sunday from noon to 5. Ms. Pang will be present at the gallery all weekend.

Those years were artistically and commercially productive for Lennon, with collaborations with Elton John, David Bowie, Harry Nilsson, George Harrison, Mick Jagger, and Ringo Starr, among others.
