At the Talkhouse

You know the summer season is here when the Stephen Talkhouse lines up eight shows for the holiday weekend. Echoes of the Eagles, a tribute band whose six members are vocalists, will kick things off tonight at 8. Tickets are $30. They will be followed at 10 by Yacht Lobsters, whose sound reimagines the retro-rock of Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, and Hall and Oates. Admission is $15.

Jack Bradley, Michael Carter, Sam Pace, and Zane Acord are The Thing, and they are set to perform tomorrow at 8. The Memberberries, a pop-rock cover band focused on songs of the 1990s and aughts, will take the stage at 10:30. Tickets for each show are $50.

Saturday at 8 it’s Illiterate Light, a duo that trades in “pummeling and catchy alternative Rock.” Hello Brooklyn, a New York cover band, will follow at 10:30. The tariff for each show is $50.

The Nancy Atlas Project needs no introduction here. They will perform Sunday at 8. Rubix Kube will bring its interactive “The ‘80s Strike Back” show on Sunday at 10:30. Admission for each is $50.

News From the Temple

Nancy Atlas and her band will rock Sag Harbor’s Masonic Temple on Saturday at 8 p.m. Known for her raw live performances and songwriting, Ms. Atlas will be joined by Brett King on bass, Johnny Blood on electric guitar, Denny McDermott on drums, Joe Delia on keys, and Greg McMullen on pedal steel and electric guitar.

The temple calls it a “rare small-room performance,” with seating on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets are $40 and are expected to sell quickly. Doors will open at 7.

M’Bemba Bangoura, a master drummer from West Africa, will lead a drum class on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and a dance class from 3 to 5 at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. Participants can take their own drums; there may be a few to rent or buy. Tickets to each class are $20.

The Roses Grove Band will bring the music of the Grateful Dead to the temple on Sunday evening at 8. Tickets are $20.
