Rockin' In Montauk
The Sturdy Souls will perform at the Montauket in Montauk on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. On Mondays, they perform at the Surf Lodge, also in Montauk, from 6 to 8 p.m.

At the Talkhouse
The Lynn Blue Band plays at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tonight at 7 p.m. for $20, followed by Fast Five at 10 for $10. Tomorrow at 7 p.m. it's Hopefully Forgiven ($30), with Hello Brooklyn taking the stage at 10:30 ($40). The HooDoo Loungers play on Saturday at 7 p.m. ($40), followed by the Zoo at 10 ($40). On Sunday, 8 p.m., it's the Unsung Heroes ($20), followed by the Majestic Band at 10 ($10). D.J. Snoop is on the turntables on Tuesday, 10 p.m., at a $10 industry night. The Fred Goldring Band plays on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ($10). Tickets for most shows can be purchased on the Talkhouse website. Patrons must show proof of vaccination to enter.

Lone Sharks at the Clubhouse
Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks play on the lawn at the Clubhouse in Wainscott tonight and every Thursday from 6 to 9. Tomorrow, also 6 to 9, it's jazz night. Winston Irie and Friends play on Sunday, and there is also live music on Monday, also 6 to 9.

Sunset Fridays Return
Sunset Fridays return to Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack tomorrow at 5 p.m. with the Lynn Blue Band. Capacity is limited and guests will be allowed on a first come, first served basis.

On the Rock
The vocalist Vanessa Trouble, with Steve Salerno on guitar and Mike Hall on bass, will play at the Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island on Sunday from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

At Salt, also on Shelter Island, Hopefully Forgiven plays every Sunday from 4 p.m. to sunset, weather permitting.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
