Boyd Meets Girl, featuring Rupert Boyd and Laura Metcalf, will perform Thursday at 6 at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.

Boyd Meets Girl, featuring Rupert Boyd, a guitarist from Australia, and Laura Metcalf, an American cellist, will perform instrumental arrangements of popular classical and pop vocal works this evening at 6 on the covered terrace at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.

Boyd Meets Girl’s debut album, which reached #3 on the Billboard traditional classical chart, has been broadcast on radio stations around the world, and was selected as Album of the Week on California’s KDFC-FM, a noncommercial classical station.

Tickets are $20, $10 for members, and free for students and must be bought in advance on the museum’s website. Guests have been advised to take chairs, as no museum seating will be available.

Merat Does Brel
“Jacques Brel by Alfredo Merat,” the December 2018 concert of the iconic Belgian’s music performed by Mr. Merat at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, will be available to stream online on the theater’s website on Monday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available online; half the net proceeds will go directly to Mr. Merat.

The songs are in French with an English narrative. Born in Madrid and raised in Bordeaux, France, Mr. Merat, who lives in East Hampton, has toured throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States.

Drag Brunch
Our Fabulous Variety Show, the Southampton theater troupe, will present a drag brunch featuring Naomi and Aunt Barb on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Inn Spot on the Bay in Hampton Bays. The show will also include dance and sketch interludes by OFVS performers and music by D.J. Johnny.

Tickets, which can be bought on the group's website, range from $15 to $25. Brunch and drink specials will be available for purchase.
