Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone angrily denounced President Trump on Wednesday, telling reporters that the president referred to federal disaster assistance as “some sort of bailout” during his fund-raising visit to the South Fork on Saturday.
Bus Agreement Extended
The Sag Harbor School Board last week signed an intermunicipal agreement with the Sagaponack School District to serve as the school bus provider taking Sagaponack students to their respective schools. An extension of a previous agreement, this means the 2020-21 school year will be the third that Sag Harbor is responsible for transporting all of Sagaponack's students.
Liz Joyce of Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater returns to Guild Hall on Wednesday for a performance of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale — with a twist.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of Calvary Baptist Church’s annual barbecue, which was scheduled to be held on Aug. 9, 2020.
The decision to cancel was easy, in doing our part to help keep others safe during this pandemic. We thank all of you for your support and look forward to coming together for our annual day in August of 2021.

A public meeting of the Suffolk County Aquaculture Lease Program's 10-year review advisory group will happen next Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. The meeting will take place via video conference.
