LTV Fitness Series Gets Potatoes Off the Couch

Thu, 01/22/2026 - 11:10
Kiki Hajek is one of four fitness instructors who will lead classes at LTV on Saturdays this winter.

Roughly 80 percent of New Year’s resolutions get kicked to the curb by February, but not if LTV in Wainscott can help it. LTV has resolved to keep local bodies moving this winter, launching a new fitness program this week. The LTV Fitness Studio includes both free and paid classes taught by some of the top instructors on the South Fork.

“Free classes are filmed as public-access programming, while paid programs are private, in-person experiences that help sustain the program and keep free classes available to the community,” said Antoinette Lanza, an LTV producer.

The all-female teaching lineup includes Lois Nesbitt, a highly regarded master yogi with over 30 years’ experience and practice; Erica Velasquez, a Springs sound healer, meditation guide, and yoga and Pilates teacher known for her uplifting style; Kelly Sheppard, a Sag Harbor Pilates teacher with 20-plus-years’ experience, known for her deep knowledge and training, and Kiki Hajek, a Southampton creator of an invigorating, holistic health program called Align Oneness and an instructor at Wave Wellness and Karma Collective.

“I’m looking forward to teaching at LTV studios,” Velasquez said. “I’ll be offering a sound bath and meditation experience. I’m so excited to hear the sound waves dance in the studio!”

The public-access station will offer four classes on Saturdays in its flexible space called Studio 3: Sculpt and Align with Hajek from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., yoga with Nesbitt from 10 to 11:15 a.m., Gentle Winter Restorative Sound Bath and Guided Meditation with Velasquez from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and mat Pilates with Sheppard from 12:30 to 1:30. Classes with Nesbitt and Velasquez start this Saturday. Classes with Sheppard and Hajek begin on Feb. 14. The classes cost $25 each, with five-class packs available for $100. Additional details and class registration are at ltveh.org/fitness.

On Fridays at 9 a.m. beginning Feb. 6, a rotating schedule of teachers will offer a free class with a live studio audience that will be filmed for LTV’s public-access platforms, Channel 20 and YouTube. Details about those sessions will be available on the LTV calendar page.

“This is where movement meets mission, and every class becomes part of something bigger. Our new fitness experience lives on stage, on screen, and in our community,” Lanza said. “Let’s move, connect, and grow together.”
