Alison Morris Roslyn comes to The Star with more than 20 years of experience in media at institutions including The Wall Street Journal Europe, CNBC Europe, NBC News, and MSNBC. 

A passionate sports journalist, Alison spent five years in Pittsburgh covering the Steelers during their last two Super Bowl–winning seasons. She has also covered the Super Bowl at the Meadowlands, several Stanley Cup Finals, and the World Series.

Alison is also a Level 3 Sommelier, certified by the National Wine School. She also holds a certificate in French wines from Cornell University and a certificate in oenology from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. While she spends most of her time studying, drinking, and consulting on wines from France, she has an appreciation for all great grapes, and thinks the best wines are those you enjoy with awesome people.

Born and raised on Long Island, Alison is a graduate of Yale University and Our Lady of Mercy Academy. She just became a 22-time marathoner, having run her first Boston Marathon on April 20, 2026.
