Thu, 10/16/2025 - 10:56

In last week’s single felony-level arrest, East Hampton Town police accused a Central Islip man of driving a stolen vehicle.

According to the complaint, Patrick Lloyd Davis, 37, was seen operating a blue 2017 Hyundai on Flamingo Avenue in Montauk on the afternoon of Oct. 6. Its owner had reported the car stolen to Suffolk County police the day before, and local officers were on the lookout when they spotted the car and stopped it.

Mr. Davis was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters in Wainscott for processing, charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree. He was released with a ticket to appear for arraignment in Town Justice Court on Wednesday.
