Share the Harvest Farm pops up, Irish cuisine in Bridgehampton, happy hour specials at Lulu, and Outstanding in the Field’s summer farm-to-table dinner.
Terry Sullivan, a singer, filmmaker, and writer from Sag Harbor, will present a program of Irish songs, including some in Gaelic, along with short historical tales and comedic anecdotes at the Cormaria Retreat House on Sunday afternoon.
The Anchor Society of East Hampton, a nonprofit community group working to revitalize the village business district and return a warmer sense of community to Main Street and Newtown Lane, has issued a call for applications to its Winter Shops program, which will place pop-up shops in otherwise empty storefronts during the off-season.
“Today, at long last, we flip the switch and turn on the future,” New York State Gov. Kathy Hochul announced at Stony Brook Southampton College on Thursday morning, as federal, state, county, and local officials celebrated completion of the nation’s first utility-scale offshore wind farm.
