Montauk residents voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to approve a 20-year, $34.8 million bond that will fund an extensive renovation of the Montauk School.

Eight East Hampton High School seniors made their college commitment announcements on Dec. 3, recruited for their outstanding performance as varsity athletes. At an event in the high school library, their families and coaches celebrated their achievements.

Ethan Mitchell, the Bonac boys wrestling coach, called the 47th Sprig Gardner Wrestling Invitational here on Saturday a remarkably smooth tournament while praising his charges’ grit.

The Bonac girls indoor track team competed in its first meet of the season on Saturday at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood, notching a couple of personal bests.
