Adina Azarian, an East Hampton real estate broker, and her 2-year-old daughter, Aria, were among those killed when the private plane in which they were returning to Long Island on Sunday crashed in Virginia. The pilot and a nanny were apparently also killed in the crash. 

The Southampton Arts Center's sixth annual Architecture and Design Tour, set for Friday, June 16, will explore the modern evolution of Shingle Style architecture in Southampton.

The Steinbeck House, newly preserved as a cultural resource through efforts by Southampton Town, private donors, and the academic community, is now open to visitors on Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., by appointment only.
