Larry Keller, a native of Montauk who still holds an East Hampton High School record in discus, died of a heart attack on Feb. 1 in New Hampshire. He was 49.

Stuart Juckett, who had a long career with IBM, died in Sarasota, Fla., on Jan. 29. He had roots in East Hampton Village and had lived in Amagansett more recently. He was 79.

As the Trump administration’s assault on the offshore wind industry continues, developers of the 12-turbine South Fork Wind farm are pointing out that it generated electricity on 99 percent of all days in 2025.
