This year's Travis Field coed softball tournament, a college scholarship fund-raiser, drew more teams than ever and strong attendance.

Domenic Papa, the owner of a Connecticut car dealership, has bought the Amagansett and Bellport I.G.A.s, also known as Cirillo's Markets, from Fran Cirillo. 

The 7-on-7 men's soccer league's top two teams in the regular season, Maidstone Market and the East Hampton Soccer Club, were upset in playoff semifinal games played last Thursday at East Hampton's Herrick Park.
