HamptonsFilm Brings Outdoor Movies to Park and Beach

Mon, 07/15/2024 - 10:27

Weather permitting, the summer outdoor movie series from HamptonsFilm will begin on Wednesday at sunset with a screening of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park” in Herrick Park. It is rated PG-13. Movies will continue on Wednesdays through late August at either the park or Main Beach. There are no rain dates.

On July 24 in the park, it’ll be “Singin’ in the Rain,” from 1952, starring Gene Kelly. Disney’s animated “Moana” will be shown at Main Beach on July 31. It’s then 1984’s “The NeverEnding Story” at the park on Aug. 7, and Mr. Spielberg’s “Jaws” on Aug. 21 back at the beach.

The movies are free, but prime seating squares can be reserved with a $50 donation to the film festival at hamptonsfilmfest.org.
