East Hampton Village's fall leaf pickup program will end Sunday, according to an announcement from David Collins, the village's public works superintendent.

Leaves are to be placed in piles at the roadside edges for collection, with no sticks, ornamental grasses, household trash, or plastic in the piles, according to the announcement.

The last round of pickups will begin with the west side of the village, moving to the east. "Once a street has been cleaned, no further collections will be made and leaves deposited thereafter are the responsibility of the homeowner to remove," the village's announcement said.

Questions can be directed to the public works department at 631-324-0641.
