And the St. Patrick's Day Grand Marshal Is. . .

Wed, 01/24/2024 - 15:40

The Montauk Friends of Erin have chosen Steve (Puck) Dolan as the grand marshal of this year's St. Patrick's Day parade, the organization's 62nd such event. Mr. Dolan "has been a quiet and constant presence for generations of Montauk families, and we are thrilled to recognize his dedication and impact by having him lead this year's parade," the Friends of Erin wrote on Facebook.

The parade steps off in downtown Montauk at noon on Sunday, March 24. Leading up to that will be the usual festivities: the John Behan Grand Marshal Luncheon on Friday, March 22, from noon to 4 p.m., and a cocktail party at Gurney's on Saturday, March 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets for these events, as well as for the annual Pot of Gold raffle, will go on sale soon.
