Fireworks Light Up Main Beach on Saturday

Fri, 08/18/2023 - 14:48

Main Beach will be the place to be on Saturday night when the East Hampton Fire Department hosts its annual fireworks show. The Sag Harbor Community Band will provide the music for the evening, starting at 7. Fireworks will be set off at dusk.

Permits are not required to park in the beach lots, and roadside parking will also be available. If you were thinking of driving onto the beach to watch the show, think again: The village's website notes that village beaches from Egypt Lane to Georgica will be closed to vehicles.

While Main Beach is the launching spot for the pyrotechnics, the display can also be seen, albeit from a distance, from Wiborg's and Egypt Beaches and even Georgica Beach.

Those who enjoy the show each year and want to do their part to see that the tradition continues can help support it by donating online at easthamptonfiredepartment.org.
