A Hither Hills State Park naturalist will lead hikes on Hither Hills trails less traveled on Saturday at 1 p.m.. Hikers will receive a passport booklet and stamp for every parks program attended. Registration is at eventbrite.com/nature walk. The meeting place is the west overlook, with views of Napeague Bay, 10 minutes before start time. The walk is for adults, but children 8 and older can attend as well.

Over in Sagaponack, if you're awake early on Saturday, the Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt would appreciate help in cleaning up Old Farm Road at 8. The meeting place is Poxabogue County Park on that road. Gloves are recommended. Peter Wilson at 631-553-1393 has more information.
