Starting Tuesday, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's Parrish Memorial Hall will become a vaccine clinic offering Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson shots, with no appointment necessary.

The new clinic, at the corner of Lewis Street and Herrick Road in Southampton Village, was set up in response to the closure last week of the state-run vaccination site at the college campus in Southampton.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Pfizer vaccine can be administered to people ages 12 and up, while Johnson and Johnson shots are available to those 18 and older. The hospital said in an announcement that limited amounts of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine are available.

People who need vaccines should park in designated spaces on Herrick Road, take identification with them, and wear short sleeves.
