Montauk now has a private, fenced dog agility park, open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. by reservation only, at 83 Prospect Hill Lane. The cost for one dog and owner is $25 for a half-hour, plus $10 for guidance from a coaching instructor, if needed. Reservations can be made at [email protected] or 631-806-9823.

The Montauk Community Garden will have a variety of lettuces, garlic scapes, kale, herbs, flowers, string beans, leeks, shallots, zucchini, and more for sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the grounds of the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church Parish Center.

The Montauk Lighthouse grounds and gift shop are now open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission fees are $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children under 12. The Lighthouse Museum and tower remain closed.

The Montauk Library's classic book group will be reading Jane Austen's "Persuasion" and will discuss it on Zoom on Thursday, July 16, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Copies are available at the library curbside pickup or through Live-brary. Sign-up is with Carolyn Balducci, the adult program coordinator, at [email protected].
