Get Historical for the Holidays

Wed, 11/18/2020 - 16:40

The East Hampton Historical Society will hold a holiday event at the Mulford Farm on Nov. 28. From 4 to 8 p.m. guests can tour the farm grounds and hear carolers at the Hedges-Edwards barn. There will be light refreshments, including cookies from Hamptons Aristocrat, and a Winter Wonderland with Santa on his sleigh set up to encourage photos.

Tickets are $10, or $5 for children under 16; only 38 guests will be allowed per half-hour block. Advance registration is required, and masks and social distancing will be a must. The rain date is Nov. 29.

The Thomas and Mary Nimmo Moran House and Studio will be open on Nov. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a holiday exhibition of festive decor, postcards, period silver, and antique toys to evoke a 19th-century Christmas. Tickets are $5 and can be ordered at easthamptonhistory.org. The show can be viewed on Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. by reservation only.
