The nonprofit organization I-Tri, which fosters empowerment, self-esteem, and healthful lifestyle choices among teen and pre-teen girls on the East End, is planning a bicycle ride with an optional lunch and wine tasting as a fund-raiser on Oct. 10.

Participants can choose between the Ride and Wine 10-mile ride or a 30-mile one, both of which begin and end at "a stunning private residence" in Bridgehampton, I-Tri said in an announcement. Boxed lunches and the wine tasting, if chosen, will be enjoyed in a socially distanced, outdoor atmosphere. The rain date is Oct. 11.

Entry rates start at $100 to ride. Participants have been encouraged to turn the trip into a fund-raiser themselves by raising $1,500 or more from friends and sponsors. More information is online at itrigirls.org.
