Wine Wednesdays Return
Oenophiles take note: The fall season of Nick and Toni's Wine Wednesday workshops will kick off on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. with Tour de France: The Great Wine Regions of France. Adrian Chalk, general manager and owner of Adrian Chalk Selections, will discuss the renowned wine regions of that country and the distinctive characteristics of each.
The series will continue on Wednesdays except for Nov. 4 (Long Island Restaurant Week) and Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving break). Subsequent classes will include Vinitaly Hamptons Edition (Oct. 28), an exploration of Italian wines; Chile's VIK Estate (Nov. 11), whose wines have received back-to-back 100-point ratings; the World in a Glass (Nov. 18), which will focus on wines from around the world; Demystifying European Appellations (Dec. 2), and Dec. 9 and Dec. 16, the details of which will be announced.
Tickets are $45 per person per workshop and include tasting sheets, crystal tasting stems, and small plates prepared by the restaurant's kitchen. In addition, participants who stay for dinner will receive a 20-percent discount on the evening of their class.
