Long Island Restaurant Week
The 20th anniversary of fall Long Island Restaurant Week will begin on Nov. 1 and continue through Nov. 8. Each participating restaurant will offer a $25 two-course lunch menu and/or three-course dinner menus priced at $30, $40, or $48. Each restaurant is required to provide at least three options per course and offer the prix fixe all night every night they are open (or during lunch hours), except for Saturdays, when it typically ends at 7.
The South Fork restaurants running the promotion as of this writing are Frankie’s Fabulous Italiano, Fresno, Nick and Toni’s, and the Palm in East Hampton, the Bridgehampton Inn and Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton, Miracle in Sag Harbor, Bistro Ete in Water Mill, and Le Charlot and Shippy’s in Southampton.
To celebrate 20 years, the gift card giveaway will offer diners the option to enter to win one of 20 $100 gift cards to be redeemed at a participating restaurant of their choice. Registration begins on the Long Island Restaurant Week website on Monday at 12 a.m. and ends on Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m.
More information, menus for many of the restaurants, and an up-do-date list of participants are available at longislandrestaurantweek.com.

Set for Saturday at noon, the next conversation and meal will begin with a presentation about the venue’s current exhibition, “The Disappearance of Landscape: Oakleyville,” focusing on an artists’ enclave on Fire Island, by its curator, Marcelo Gabriel Yanez, and Matthew Leifheit, one of Oakleyville’s artist residents.
Tickets are $125.
