New in East Hampton

Grindstone Coffee and Donuts, which has two locations in Sag Harbor, will have the grand opening for its latest addition -- on Race Lane in East Hampton -- on Monday. Grindstone is owned by Kyle Sanderson, who opened his first shop on Sag Harbor Main Street in 2016.

Specials from The Cookery

The Cookery in East Hampton has a menu of July Fourth specials available for pre-order no later than Sunday at 2 p.m. Offerings include wood-smoked marinated skirt steak, a seafood stew with shrimp, mussels, clams, local fish, and vegetables, grill-smoked Korean chicken wings, lobster rolls, a selection of side dishes, and a peach layer cake for dessert.

Orders can be placed on the venue’s website or by calling 631-604-6317.

Daily Mexican Specials

La Fondita in Amagansett has announced new daily specials that will be available all summer. The extensive list is on the website, but they include a torta Oaxaquena (Mondays), tacos de cochinita pibil (Tuesdays), tacos rancheros (Wednesdays), sopes (Thursdays), and tacos al pastor (Fridays through Sundays).

Catering to Go

The Art of Eating in Bridgehampton is now offering an early summer catering-to-go menu. Starters include Montauk tuna tartare, a hand-sliced smoked salmon platter, cumin-scented tortilla chips, and turkey meatballs “in mom’s marinara.”

Among the entrees are a paella with seafood, chicken, and chorizo that serves four and a lobster bake that includes four 1.5 pound lobsters and all the accompaniments. French potato salad vinaigrette, sunshine slaw, and asparagus with mustard tarragon dressing are the sides, and a chocolate ganache souffle cake is the dessert.

Orders must be placed by Wednesdays for pickup on Saturday or Sunday.
