Mother's Day menus are already being announced all over the South Fork, at places such as Main Street Tavern in Amagansett.

Baron's Cove is taking bookings for its Mother's Day brunch on May 8. The restaurant will offer selections from its new spring menu in addition to some special items for the day. These are a fried goat cheese, roasted beet, and arugula salad; a Belgian waffle, berries, and peach and lavender gelato, and a mushroom and broccoli rabe flatbread with whipped ricotta and fried egg.

If Mom wants to visit for dinner, she can choose from specials like crab cakes, spring radish, pepper fricassee, and charred poblano remoulade; tempura fried spring vegetables with tonnato sauce and lemon, and a spice cake with lemon glaze and curd.

In nearby Noyac, Bell and Anchor's brunch, served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., features eggs and lobster Benedict, duck hash, house smoked salmon, and French toast with bananas. Dinner, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., has appetizers such as crispy portobello with smoked mozzarella; tuna poke, and burrata. Entrees are pan-roasted salmon, bouillabaisse, lobster garganelli, and roast chicken with bacon and truffled risotto. All specials are served a la carte along with the regular menu. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 631-725-3400 or visiting the restaurant's website.

At Highway Restaurant and Bar in East Hampton, brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu items will include wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastries, and a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar. A kids menu will also be offered for the day. Reservations are recommended through Resy.

Farther east in Amagansett, Main Street Tavern will serve brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for walk-in patrons. A Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar will also be a feature there for celebrating moms and those who join them. The regular brunch menu will be rounded out with crispy pork belly hash, grilled salmon, huevos rancheros, and specials for the kids.

The Bridgehampton Inn will have a Mother's Day crepe breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended at 631-537-3660 or on Open Table.
