This performance has been rescheduled to Sept. 28 at 5 p.m.

Up next in the 2025 New Music Series at the Arts Center at Duck Creek in Springs is the Sophia Kickhofel Quartet, which will perform on Saturday at 5 p.m.

An alto saxophonist, Ms. Kickhofel  began studying classical saxophone at the age of 10 and discovered jazz three years later. In high school she performed with national honor ensembles including NYO Jazz and the National Association for Music Education Jazz Band.

She has played at Carnegie Hall, the Library of Congress, Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, and Dizzy’s Club, and shared the stage with Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ulysses Owens Jr., and Victor Goines.

She will be accompanied by Jayla Chee, bass, Nate Jones, trombone, and Matt Lee, drums. The rain date is Sunday.

Girls’ Soccer Team

“The Wolves,” a one-act play by Sarah DeLappe that premiered Off Broadway in 2016, will have performances at the Southampton Cultural Center Friday evening at 7, Saturday at 2 and 7, and Sunday at 7.

Directed by Allen O’Reilly and produced by Robin Aren, “The Wolves” is set in an indoor soccer facility, where the teenage girls who make up the Wolves, a high school soccer team, are talking while warming up. They include the new girl, the know-it-all, the mean girl, and the team captain.

The play, a New York Times critics pick, won the 2017 Obie Award for ensemble work and was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Tickets are $30, $20 for students.

Call for Artisans

The Church in Sag Harbor has issued a call for vendor applications for its Holiday Makers Market, which will happen from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30. More than 15 artisans will offer home goods, clothing, jewelry, and other handmade gifts.

Applications must be filled out and submitted by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30 to be considered. The fee for vendors is $300. This provides an eight-foot table and a dedicated 10-by-6 foot vendor space in the main gallery. More information and an application link can be found on The Church’s website by scrolling to Sept. 30 on the events page.

Creative Gardens

The Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons will host a lecture by Nick McCullough, an award-winning garden designer and author, on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Community House. He and his team at McCullough Landscape and Nursery in Ohio create and maintain plant-centric gardens in the Midwest that are ecologically sensitive.

In his talk, Mr. McCullough, the co-author of “American Roots: Lessons and Inspiration From the Designers Reimagining Our Home Gardens,” will discuss a selection of gardens made by creative gardeners from Big Sur, Calif., to the shores of Rhode Island.

Tickets are $10, free for members.

This article has been changed from its previous and print versions to reflect the rescheduling of the concert at the Arts Center at Duck Creek.
