The Sag Harbor American Music Festival will crank up the volume in that village this weekend with four days of concerts, almost all of them free, starting Thursday with the percussion ensemble Escola de Samba Boom, which will kick things off at 5 p.m. at Mashashimuet Park.

Thursday night’s lineup and locations also include Hopefully Forgiven at Sag Pizza, Chloe Halpin at The Church, Ludmilla Brazil Trio at Tutto Il Giorno, Camryn Quinlan at Sen, Bobby Murray at K Pasa, Certain Moves at the Back Page, and the Belle Curves at Kidd Squid Brewing Company.

The weekend will feature two, and only two, ticketed events. Bay Street Theater will host Teddy Thompson and his band Friday at 8 p.m. Mr. Thompson will perform country-inflected originals and selections from his latest album, “My Love of Country,” on which he collaborated with such artists as Rufus Wainwright, Rosanne Cash, and Emmylou Harris. Tickets are $45, $35 for festival members.

Saturday evening will bring the Resilient to Bay Street, also at 8. Composed primarily of severely wounded U.S. combat veterans, their music is said to feature “sincere lyricism, lulling melodies, hypnotizing beats, and weaving harmonies.” The band has performed with Roger Waters, Yo-Yo Ma, Sheryl Crow, Aaron Neville, Ricky Skaggs, and Oleta Adams, among others. Tickets are $45, $35 for members.

Among the familiar acts set for Saturday are Annie Trezza, who will perform at the Sag Harbor Express alley stage; Inda Eaton, at Steinbeck Park, the HooDoo Loungers at Marine Park, Joe Delia and Klyph Black at Kidd Squid, and Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks, also at Steinbeck Park.

Sunday’s roster features the Mudflats String Band at Marine Park, Grover Anderson at the Breakwater Yacht Club, Jake Lear at Steinbeck Park, Greg Bucking Band at the alley stage, and the Phil Firetog Trio at Baron’s Cove.

The music will happen rain or shine. The full performance schedule, as well as a link for ticket sales to the Friday and Saturday night shows, can be found online at sagharbormusic.org.

This article has been changed from its original and print versions because of changes in two performance locations.
