Dinner Club From Almond
Almond Dinner and Provisions Club, an initiative of the Bridgehampton restaurant and its L&W Market, offers monthly multi-course dinners for two or four people fully prepared to enjoy at home. Members can expect dishes inspired by what’s in season that are not on the restaurant’s regular menu.
Dinner for two is $95, for four, $190. A provisions bundle of prepared foods from the market is a $30 option. The next order will be for October. Members who sign up for it will be notified by email at the beginning of the month, confirming the pickup or delivery date. Joining well ahead of the next month’s offering is recommended.
Other membership perks are a 10-percent discount at L&W Market, first dibs on Almond events and market specials, and notes from the chef about what inspired the month’s menu. Memberships can be paused or canceled at any time. More information can be found on the restaurant’s website.
Almond has also announced the return of its off-season specials. A two-course prix fixe dinner for $39 is available all night Monday through Thursday. A meatless Monday prix fixe is also $39, while Tuesday’s offering is a burger and a beer for $25. Bottomless mussels and fries can be had on Wednesdays for $25, while margaritas and martinis go for $10 on Thursdays. D.J. Mister Lama will be on hand for Karaoke on Saturdays from 9:30 p.m.
North Fork Foodie Tour
The 20th anniversary North Fork Foodie Tour, presented by the North Fork Reform Synagogue, is happening on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants can explore at their own pace and have an opportunity to meet with the producers behind the North Fork’s finest artisanal food, wine, and beer. Guest speakers will be on hand at Charnews Farm in Southold, the tour’s headquarters.
Locations are spread across 30 miles, so planning ahead has been recommended. Tickets are $35 per person, free for children under 12. Upon check-in participants will receive a wristband and guidebook. More information, including a map and a list of tour locations, is at northforkfoodietour.com.
