Members Show Gallery Tour

A gallery tour of Guild Hall’s 85th Artist Members Exhibition, set for Sunday at noon, will be led by Melanie Crader, the venue’s director of visual arts, and by the artists who received honorable mentions from the awards juror, Storm Ascher. In addition to the Top Honors prize, which was won by Michael A. Butler, Ms. Ascher awarded honorable mentions to Lilah Yektai, Ross Watts, Anita Giraldo, Raphael Ogoe, and Kenneth Jackson.

Tickets are $15, $13.50 for members.

10x10 Art Show

The 10x10 Art Show, a fund-raiser and silent auction, will happen on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton. The artworks have been created by 100 local artists and students.

Each original unsigned piece will be sold for $100, and can be taken on Saturday. Selected larger works will be sold in a silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Hampton Library’s art gallery as part of the current capital campaign.

 

New Chapter for Old Stone Market Owners

Twenty years after purchasing the parcel at 472 Old Stone Highway in Springs and opening Old Stone Market, Wolf Reiter and Vicky Sdrougias called it a career. The market closed, much to the sorrow of many, on Monday.
