The Hamptons Comedy Festival will bring four stand-up veterans to Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theater on Saturday evening at 8. The program is presented by the Long Island Comedy Festival, which has been sending comedic talent to theaters across the island for 17 years, including Bay Street last year. Two additional shows are slated for the fall.

Saturday's lineup includes Kendra Cunningham, Bryan McKenna, Chris Roach, and Rich Walker. A regular on the New York and Boston comedy circuits, Ms. Cunningham has performed at Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival, the Glasgow Comedy Festival, and has appeared twice on NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

Mr. McKenna was featured in the Asheville Comedy Festival, and has been a finalist in the Carolines on Broadway March Madness Competition and the Boston Comedy Festival in 2021. His first solo album, "Jim Breuer Presents Bryan McKenna: The Fight Is Never Over" debuted at #1 on iTunes.

Best known for his recurring role as Mott in the CBS sitcom "Kevin Can Wait," Mr. Roach toured throughout the Northeast as the opening act for Kevin James. He has performed at the Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, the Borgata in Atlantic City, and the Paramount in Huntington.

Mr. Walker, who has opened for Ray Romano, Dom Irrera, Gabe Kaplan, and Mr. James, was twice named Best of L.I. by The Long Island Press. He has performed at the Gotham Comedy Club, Stand-Up NY, and Catch a Rising Star in Princeton, N.J.

Tickets are $35.

The theater is also offering a one-day audition workshop for those 16 and up with the casting director S.J. Allocco-St. Germain, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Registration is $99 through the website, where more information is available.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
