Choral Whimsy in Sag Harbor

The Choral Society of the Hamptons will sing of spring in a light-spirited concert at Bay Street Theater

The Choral Society of the Hamptons will bring "A Touch of Whimsy" to Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theater on Sunday afternoon at 5:30. The program will feature Samuel Barber’s "Sure on This Shining Night," Randall Thompson’s "Americana," Eric Whitacre’s "Animal Crackers Vol. I & II," selections from Irving Fine’s "Alice in Wonderland," and Gilbert & Sullivan compositions.

David M. Brandenburg, a composer, sound designer, and music director who is a frequent guest conductor for the choral society, will be on the podium. The chorus will be joined by the soloists Barbara Fusco-Spera and Dominic Inferrera and accompanied by the pianists Christine Cadarette and Jonathan Howe. 

Tickets are $35, $10 for students, and $75 for preferred seating.
