The International Fine Print Dealers Association will give Vija Celmins its Jordan Schnitzer Award for Printmaking Excellence at its annual fair beginning on Thursday in preview and opening to the public on Friday.

As part of the events marking the award, the artist will participate in a talk with Samantha Rippner, who wrote "The Prints of Vija Celmins," a monograph. There will be an introduction by Leslie Jones, a curator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Jordan Schnitzer.

Ms. Celmins, who has had a cottage in Sag Harbor since 1997, is known for her mastery of the print medium, working in intaglio, lithography, and relief printing to render imagery such as the ocean, deserts, and starlit skies.

On Sunday, the fair will offer a talk on the prints of Andy Warhol with Judd Tully, a journalist and art critic, at 1 p.m. Hauser & Wirth, which has two galleries in Southampton, will be an exhibitor. Among other East Enders featured in the gallery booths are Richard Serra and Robert Longo.

The fair runs through Sunday at the River Pavilion of the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan.
