With early voting and Election Day votes counted, the Republican incumbent Lee Zeldin appears to be the winner of the race to represent the First Congressional District, having garnered 61.31 percent of those votes to Nancy Goroff's 38.66 percent, according to unofficial totals from the Suffolk County Board of Elections.

Trevor Edward Hudson, a son of Pamela and Michael Hudson of East Hampton, and Kimberly Lynn Plank, a daughter of Lisa Plank and Christopher Plank of Harrisburg, Pa., were married on Aug. 8 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Philadelphia. A reception will be held next year when it is safe to do so.

Anticipating a disputed result of Tuesday's presidential election, an activist group called Progressive East End Reformers has scheduled a post-election rally on Wednesday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Community House.
