A day of fun on the ice on Saturday at the Buckskill Winter Club will raise money for Katy’s Courage, the nonprofit that supports pediatric cancer research, education, and children’s bereavement services.

The free activities begin with a junior hockey game from 10:30 a.m. to noon. There will be skate classes from 12:15 to 1:15 and public skating from 1:15 to 2:45 and from 3:15 to 5:30. A free ice show at 6 is always a highlight, and at 8 an adult hockey game will cap off the day. Those who want to play in that game have been asked to register in advance by emailing [email protected] or calling the club at 631- 324-2243. A raffle and silent auction will continue through Monday, with tickets available at the club.
