Thu, 06/19/2025 - 10:32

Sag Harbor Village Mayor Thomas Gardella and Bob Plumb and Aiden Corish of the village board were each re-elected on Tuesday in uncontested races.

Mr. Gardella will his second two-year term as mayor. Mr. Plumb was elected to his fourth two-year term, and Mr. Corish to his fifth.

Demonstrating the low turnout, the top vote-getter of the evening was Mr. Gardella with 66 votes. Following him were Mr. Corish with 60 votes and Mr. Plumb with 59. Mr. Gardella was also the top vote-getter in the previous election in 2023 with 376 votes, followed by Mr. Plumb with 315, and Mr. Corish with 289. There were three write-in votes for the board seats, and no write-in votes for mayor.

There were no propositions on this year’s ballot.
