Saturday’s Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League’s all-star game, played at Sag Harbor’s Mashashimuet Park, the summer home of the Sag Harbor Whalers, ended, for the first time in its 10-year history, in a tie, at 9-9.

Sunday’s games, because of the deluge, were postponed. The Whalers are to play at the Shelter Island Bucks tomorrow at 2 and 4:30. Saturday, the Whalers are to take on the league-leading Westhampton Aviators in a doubleheader away, and on Sunday the Southampton Breakers are to play the Whalers at Mashashimuet at 5.

Sunday’s sprint triathlon to the Montauk Lighthouse, an event that attracted a field of 447, was won by last year’s runner-up, Matthew Raske, in 1 hour, 6 minutes, and 25 seconds. Neil Falkenhan was the top local finisher, placing seventh in 1:11.22. Another local, Thomas Brierley, was 13th in 1:22:14.

Katrina Garry of Montauk was the women’s winner, and 17th over all, in 1:21:16.

The Montauk Playhouse’s aquatics center, which benefited from the sprint triathlon, will also benefit from the Montauk Ocean Swim Challenge that’s to take place at Ditch Plain Beach Sunday beginning at 6:30 a.m.

A recent benefit softball game in which the members and staff of the South Fork Country Club vied at the Terry King ball field in Amagansett wound up in a 15-15 tie, Tim Garvin, the club’s head pro, said. The game raised $28,000 for the East Hampton Food Pantry, he added.
