“Come with an open mind,” Aly Giampolo and Colette Dong said this week of their pop-up trampoline workout series, “and allow yourself to enjoy learning something that might be new to you.”

Throughout July, Ms. Dong and Ms. Giampolo have set up shop — a rather bouncy shop — at the Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton. The two friends met while performing in a dance company and formed the idea for the Ness, which they describe as “an aerobic form of cross-training.”

“We were introduced to the trampoline as a piece of low-impact equipment and fell completely in love with it,” Giampolo and Dong said in an email to The Star. “The more we spent time on the trampoline, the more we realized that it was not only a dynamic and efficient tool, but it was also so much fun and we knew we wanted to share that with our community.”

The trampoline class is a “bounce and sculpt” class set to music, incorporating a cardio workout with choreographed moves, plus lightweight, high-repetition strength training for a full-body workout. Dong and Giampolo say it is appropriate and safe for all ages because it is low-impact. Participants should take water and wear sneakers and comfortable workout clothes.

“Among all the important things to know about our classes, the most important is that we’re focused on helping you find joy in your movement,” they said. “Our goal is that you leave feeling strong, confident and happy after spending some time with us on a trampoline.”

Classes are $55 each and will be held every day in July. A schedule can be seen at the Topping Rose House website. Classes can be booked via the MindBodyOnline website at bit.ly/39TjQv0.
