Mariska Hargitay came to the festival on Sunday to support her film "I Am Evidence."

Filmmakers were celebrated over and over on Sunday at the Hamptons International Film Festival. It began with an early screening of Susan Lacy's biography of Steven Spielberg in Sag Harbor. Then, the New York Women in Film and Television association had their annual brunch at Mulford Farm in East Hampton.

Mariska Hargitay visited the festival in her capacity as a producer of the film "I Am Evidence," directed by Trish Adlesic and Geeta Gandbhir. In the early afternoon, Rob Reiner, who started as an actor, but has been making films since the 1980s, sat for a conversation with Alison Willmore at the East Hampton Middle School.

"Filmworker," a documentary about Leon Vitali, an actor who threw a successful career away to become Stanley Kubrick's personal assistant, was screened in East Hampton. The director, Tony Zierra, and Mr. Vitali were joined by Alec Baldwin after the screening to talk about the film.

Then, in Sag Harbor, the makers of the hit film "Get Out" dissected one of the film's key scenes with the director and writer Jordan Peele, the producers, and the main actors, Allison Williams and Daniel Kaluuya.

The day ended with a chat with Annette Bening and Bob Balaban about her long career also at the East Hampton Middle School. With all of the usual amount of films in between, it was a very full day.
