Joseph H. Pombo, a lifelong resident of East Hampton, died on Tuesday at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. He was 93.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1928, and later served in the Air Force. Catherine Pombo, his wife of 70 years, died in June 2021.

Mr. Pombo leaves two children, Joseph C. Pombo of East Hampton and John P. Pombo of North Carolina, as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Jean King of East Hampton. A daughter, Eileen Carmona, and a sister, Judy Rivera, died before him.

Services will be private. Mr. Pombo will be buried at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton.
